What To Sell: Golf Balls!

Golf balls can be easily found in many places such as yard sales, thrift stores, and estate auctions and can be purchased for a very low price. Out of all the times I have sold golf balls I sell them in less than 4 hours! I recently sold 48 used golf balls from all types of brands for 35 dollars and bought them in a yard sale for 3 dollars! Thats a 33 dollar profit in less than a day! So always keep a lookout for those golf balls, especially good brands such as Nike, and titleist.

Selling online: Why you should invest on a shipping/postal scale.

Investing on a shipping scale can benefit you and your business wallet. For around $20 dollars you can purchase online a 75 pound shipping scale. Of course there is also the 3, 5, 25, and 50 pound scales that cost less but you should invest on a scale that fits your needs, I purchased the 75 pound scale since I sell also a lot of heavy items and whenever I go on vacation, I also like to weigh in my baggage so I can avoid those hefty fees at the airport. Also investing on a shipping scale can help you find exact weights and you wont have to be estimating weights anymore, and also you wont be making money wasting mistakes. Believe me that scale will pay itself!

Pickers Inventory: Where do you find it?

Part of being a picker (many people also call it professional treasure hunter, ecommerce, professional scavenger, and in some occasions a entrepenuer) is finding Inventory. So where do you find it?  Theres plenty of places such as, yard sales, flea markets or swapmeets, thrift stores, and normal stores. the majority of pickers only try to find antiques and collectables, but there is plenty of other people that like to sell general items or high-end clothing or a bit of everything.  As for me I like to sell a little of everything, from clothing to antiques im all over the place but I try to just buy and resell clothing and antiques and video games because thats were I make most of my money. I have tried to find inventory in all types of places but I prefer and find the best items in yard sales! I have found designer label clothing thats worth about $100 dollars in a box for 50 cents or have found antiques for really low prices and have sold them for a very good price. (Buy low sell high) I also prefer yardsale because they have really low prices unlike thrift stores they try to sell things a bit higher.

I hope you liked my first blog post, if you have any questions or have any blogs you might want to discuss or have a story you might want to share email me at piemanpatino@yahoo.com (I know, Ive had this email for a REALLY LONG time.)
